Day 1 Transfer From Chandigarh to Sarahan (280 km, 8-9 Hours)

Upon arrival at Chandigarh airport/railway station, our driver will pick you up and we’ll make our way towards Sarahan. The journey will take approximately 8-9 hours, during which we’ll make a few stops at some interesting places.
In Chandigarh, we’ll pause to admire the Pinjore Gardens and visit the Mansa Devi Temple. Additionally, we’ll make a stop at the Timber Trail resort in Parwanoo, where you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery and have a relaxing break.
As we enter Himachal Pradesh, you’ll be captivated by the stunning views of the mountains and valleys. If time permits, we’ll even take a detour to Hattu Peak in Narkanda, a picturesque spot that offers magnificent views of the surrounding landscape.
We’ll reach Sarahan by evening and check-in to the hotel, where you can relax and unwind after a long day of traveling.

Day 2 Transfer From Sarahan to Sangla ( 90 km, 3.5 hrs)

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we’ll visit the Bheemakali Temple in Sarahan to seek blessings before embarking on our journey towards Sangla.
En route, we’ll stop at Kharcham Dam to marvel at the engineering feat achieved by the locals. You can enjoy a lunch break at the nearby Wangtoo Village, which is located near the dam.
As we continue our journey, we’ll explore various other places along the way, soaking in the natural beauty and cultural significance of each stop. By late evening, we’ll reach Sangla, where you can relax and unwind at the hotel, preparing yourself for the next day’s adventures.

Day 3 Local Sightseeing of Chitkul – Sangla Valley

After enjoying a delicious breakfast with salted Kinnauri Chai, we’ll take you on a journey to discover Sangla and Chitkul.
Our first stop will be Kamru village and Kamru fort, which oversee the lush apple and apricot orchards interspersed between dense forests. The village is situated on the banks of the river Baspa, the primary water body of the valley, where you can relax and watch the dance of the flowing stream against the backdrop of the majestic Radlang Peaks.
Next, we’ll head to the idiosyncratic hamlet of Chitkul, where mobile signals may not work due to its remote location. Here, you’ll get to explore the picturesque village and admire its unique architecture and cultural significance.
Later, we’ll visit Batseri Village, where you can buy local Kinnauri handicraft items as souvenirs before heading back to the hotel in the evening to rest and relax.

Day 4 Sangla to Kalpa (40 kms, 2-3 hrs)

After checking out from the hotel in Sangla, we’ll drive towards Kalpa, where we’ll be staying at Reckong Peo, the district headquarters of Kinnaur that offers all the necessary amenities.
Once we reach Kalpa, you’ll be mesmerized by the majestic and holy Mt. Kinnaur Kailash, where the monolithic Shiva-ling is placed. For the adventure seekers, we’ll visit the famous Kalpa Suicide Point.

On the way, we’ll make two stops at Pooh and Nako village, where you can admire the beauty of the village sites and interact with the locals to learn about their way of life.
Furthermore, we’ll also stop at Gue Village, which has a 500-year-old monk’s mummy in a gompa, adding more fascination to the tour.
To add to the list of tourist places, we’ll also take a halt at Tabo village, where the oldest monastery of the Spiti region was built thousands of years ago.
If time allows, we can also visit Dhankar Village on the way to Kaza, where you can witness the architectural marvel of Dhankar Monastery.

Day 6 Sightseeing around Kaza (5-6 hrs)

The first stop on today’s itinerary is Komik village and Hikkim. In Komik, you can witness the rustic life of the villagers and their traditional houses. At Hikkim, you can send postcards to your loved ones from the highest post office in India.
Next, we will visit the renowned Key Monastery, where you can listen to stories from the monks about the monastery’s history and culture. After that, we will head to the Chicham Bridge, the highest human-made bridge in Asia that connects Chicham village to Kibber.

Day 7 Kaza to Chandratal Lake (114km, 6 hrs)

To get to Chandratal, you will need to pass through Kunzum Pass and then reach Batal. From there, a special vehicle (usually a 4-wheel drive) will take you to the lake. Along the way, you’ll stop at Lossar. The road to the lake is treacherous and requires experienced drivers in these special vehicles.
It’s easy to believe that this place is a paradise on earth. The turquoise-colored water of the lake looks like it was deliberately painted. The lake is surrounded by lofty snow-capped mountains, which add to the beauty of the backdrop.
Tonight, you’ll be staying at a campsite under the stars, surrounded by the breathtaking views of the mountains and the lake.

Day 8 Chandratal to Manali (130 kms, 07 hrs)

Today marks the penultimate day of your Spiti Valley tour package from Chandigarh. Begin your day by enjoying a scrumptious breakfast near the campsite, after which we will head towards Manali. On the way, we will be crossing the famed Rohtang Pass, offering stunning views of the snow-capped mountains.

Day 9 –Manali to Chandigarh (310 kms, 9 hrs)
